Linux big flex. Although I’m personally annoyed over kernel 7 - they screwed up something for AMD high-end GPUs so now the best I can do is: Shutdown 99.9% then lock up and let the GPU cook, requiring a long press on the power button. It’s frustrating because everything else works perfectly.

better, no sudo, use root and issue : shutdown -h now

How is logging in as root better than just sudo? I mean if your user is in sudoers you're basically already root
