10gag.lol is a community-curated meme site. Everyone sees the same chronological feed. There is no personalized recommendation algorithm quietly building a different version of the site for every person.
Memes are submitted by members and reviewed by real people. The community can upvote, downvote, comment and take part in shaping what belongs. People who fit the culture can become part of the Meme Council and vote on new submissions.
You can also ignore all of that and just look at memes. Participation is a right, not homework.
What is different about 10gag.lol?
| Thing | How 10gag.lol works |
|---|---|
| The feed | Chronological. No personalized recommendation algorithm. |
| Curation | Community curated. Real people vote on what belongs. |
| Moderation | The Meme Council grows with members who understand the vibe. |
| Discussion | 10chat is the community room — basically our slightly unhinged parliament. |
| Creation | Built-in meme generator and rage comic maker. |
| AI slop | Not the point of the place. The site is built around real people posting and interacting. |
| Sorting | Meme feed, Trending, Top and Random are explicit choices rather than a personalized home feed. |
Who is it for?
People who miss smaller internet communities. People who want memes without an algorithm trying to learn them. People who like the idea that the community should have voting rights over its own feed. People who want to recognize usernames instead of feeling like one anonymous viewer in an infinite content machine.
10gag.lol is intentionally still small. That is not a bug. We want the culture, the Meme Council and the social fabric of the place to grow with the audience instead of being crushed by it.
Is it trying to replace 9GAG?
No. 10gag.lol is trying to be itself. “9GAG alternative” is useful because it is what people search when they want another meme site, but the goal is not to make a clone. The goal is to build our own culture: chronological, community curated, democratic and human.
Humans only. No bots. No personalized feed. Just the same weird little internet for everyone.
